Cigarette Smoking – a Way of LifeIn our days there are a lot of countries where inhabitants can’t live without smoking discount cigarettes. For example in China cigarette smoking is a way of life. That’s why in this country the air is considering not a clean one but vice versa. Two-thirds of men there 'light up' daily. According to a recent study there are more smokers in China than there are people in the US. So snuffing cigarette smoke there involves more than overcoming addiction, it involves changing culture, even among Chinese doctors. In China a doctor wouldn't hesitate in greeting somebody without offering him/her a cigarette. The air in China will be cleaner when non-smokers will be more educated about health hazards about second-hand smoking, and when current smokers will be encouraged to quit. China also needs for a new legislation for to tax cigarettes in order to decrease the smokers’ number, reported anti-smoking researchers. They consider that the more a pack of cigarettes will cost, the fewer people will smoke. And that new legislation will save not only the smokers’ life but the life of their children. The wish of anti-smoking researchers is to convince Chinese government to continue the anti-smoking efforts. |
