North Carolina economic development fund offer grant for Top Tobacco

North Carolina economic development fund offer a contribution of $150,000 for Top Tobacco Company. Fact that enlargement of tobacco business of this enterprise offer new jobs and a more paid salaries is a good reason to do this.

Top Tobacco is a company that is headquartered in Columbus County that is located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. Its county seat is Whiteville.

Official of community governor affirmed that tobacco company planned to expand its coastal manufacturing plant, creating new 70 jobs. This is a welcomed action that will offer increase of county economy and citizens’ life. Company is ready to offer to its future employers wages bigger when that ordinary met in California. The average wage of the jobs created will be between $610 and $650 per week plus benefits. These salaries are higher in comparison with Columbus County one, which is equal to $520 per week.

Total investment that Top Tobacco intends to invest constitutes $16.8 million in the community. It is for next three years.
