Smoking Experience

Nicotine dependence or plainly smoking is extremely wide - spread on earth; in all each second tellurian smokes. Therefore we treat smoking as a harmless fun. In vain!

Let us speak about the pleasure that the cigs and tobacco smoker experiences. First of all it is a chemical effect of nicotine on the cerebrum. Nicotine is a simulative substance in its nature, which urges the brain work and causes a slight euphoria. It is the reason why the majority of smokers think a cigarette improves the thought process. But it is not worth to show an ash-tray full of cigarettes stubs as an evidence of someone’s intellectual activity, or sooner or later the brain will refuse to work without the cigarette at all. By the way, the nicotine provokes brain dimness finally but not clarity as it supposed.

However the smoking process satisfies some other needs also.

Smoking bears the character of the ritual in many respects; it lets to sustain a pause between a word and an action, between a question and an answer etc. As the overwhelming majority of the smokers belong to the so-called straightforward identity type so they need to fill in the gap in order to think a minute at least, especially if they are excited by anything.
